Apply for a study permit

For international students

Students who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada need a valid study permit to attend 宅男社区*. Please check to see if you need any extra travel authorization documents before you arrive.

You should apply as soon as you receive your Letter of Acceptance (LOA) as the process can take some time.

New! Attestation letter required before applying for a study permit

As of Jan. 22, 2024, most international students need to provide an attestation letter from the province or territory where they plan to study before they apply for a study permit.

The Government of Canada has advised that any application for a study permit received on or after Jan. 22, 2024, without an attestation letter will be returned unless you are exempt.

Do not attempt to submit an application for a study permit until you receive your attestation letter.

Please check if you require a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) for your study permit application.
